On January 11, 2013 Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes bring the New Jersey sound to LIFE, The Place to Be, In Ardsley, NY. Located at 2 Lawrence Street in Ardsley, NY, LIFE is quickly becoming Westchester’s most intimate concert venue, providing great music, food and drinks, with plenty of bar space, bartenders, and parking.
Hailing from the same New Jersey Shore music scene as Bruce Springsteen, Southside’s first three albums (I Don’t Want To Go Home, This Time It’s for Real, and Hearts of Stone), were produced and largely written by band co-founder Steven Van Zandt (E Street Band, The Sopranos). “I Don’t Want To Go Home” became Southside’s signature song. In 1982 Rolling Stone Magazine voted Hearts of Stone among the top 100 albums.
