MAMARONECK– A meeting at the Village of Mamaroneck Courtroom (169 Mt Pleasant Avenue) on Saturday June 11, 2011 from 10:00 –Noon will inform residents about Mamaroneck’s Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). You may ask questions and discuss the vision for the future of the Mamaroneck Waterfront. The update will look ahead for the next 30-50 years. Public participation is welcome and needed to shape a program update that you consider relevant to your needs as a property owner and that is in the best interests of the community as a whole.
(A recent LWV forum on this subject featured Steven Resler, formerly of the Department of State and all-knowing about this topic, planner Frank Fish, currently consulting for the Village on the update, and Adam Whelchel of the Nature Conservancy, which is focused on the history and significance of the waterfront program.)
To learn more about the nuts and bolts of the LWRP, you can watch a rerun of this informative program on LMC-TV. Then, please drop by the Village Courthouse on Saturday.
